Our practice has a strong clinical focus on supporting individuals with anxiety and trauma-related difficulties, ranging from emerging anxiety to the long-term impacts of childhood trauma. We draw on evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).
In addition, we provide consultations for children with developmental disabilities, offering guidance and support for families navigating these challenges.
Kate Li is a Clinical Psychologist registered with AHPRA and a Board Approved Supervisor. She completed a Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Canberra (2013) and a Master of Education in Applied Behaviour Analysis at Monash University (2021).
Kate has extensive experience providing evidence-based therapies, including CBT, ACT, and EMDR, for the treatment of mood disorders and trauma-related difficulties. She has additional training in structural dissociation and Internal Family Systems, which she integrates in her work with clients experiencing relational and attachment trauma.
In addition to her psychology training, Kate is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst® (BCBA®). She develops behaviour support plans and provides training for children to build emotional regulation and tolerance. She also designs and delivers verbal behaviour programs to support children in developing their social, communication, and everyday life skills.
Halie Wang is a registered psychologist with training in clinical neuropsychology. She completed her Master of Psychology (Clinical Neuropsychology) at the University of Melbourne.
Halie is a compassionate practitioner who values creating a safe and collaborative space for her clients. She has worked across neurology, mental health, and paediatrics, and supports people across the lifespan. Her interests include trauma-related difficulties, helping clients understand their reactions and build emotional regulation skills. She draws on Schema Therapy and CBT to promote resilience and recovery.
Halie also provides comprehensive neuropsychological assessments for clients aged 13 and over, including ADHD, autism, learning, and IQ assessments. These assessments highlight cognitive strengths and weaknesses and offer practical recommendations for learning and daily life.
For face-to-face sessions, a standard fee of $235 applies for a standard 50-minute session with a Clinical Psychologist/BCBA. The fee for a standard session with a registered psychologist is $215.
Rebate is available through Medicare Better Access, and can be processed at the clinic for eligible patients.
Additional services using a level 2 therapist assistant is available at the clinic for cost-effective and intensive training programs.
Our practice is fully equipped for telehealth, using Zoom Healthcare, which meets Australian privacy standards and follows the guidelines of the Australian Psychological Society. This allows clients to access secure and convenient care from the comfort of their own home.
Where appropriate, we can also provide services in schools, community settings, or at home. (Please note that travel fees may apply.)
Kate is also an AHPRA Board Approved Supervisor and offers clinical supervision for provisional psychologists completing their clinical training programs.
