Kate Li Psychology is located in Flemington, providing easy access to psychological services for residents of the western suburbs of Melbourne, as well as the City of Moonee Valley, Maribyrnong and Brimbank. Video consultations are available to clients on HIPPA compliant platforms without additional charges. In addition, services can also be provided in Mandarin and Cantonese.
This practice has a clinical focus on the treatment of anxiety and trauma-related disorders ranging from emerging anxiety problems to childhood trauma, using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and EMDR Therapy. We also provide consultations for the management of developmental disabilities in children.
Kate Li is registered with AHPRA as a Clinical Psychologist, and a board approved supervisor. She has a Masters in Clinical Psychology at the University of Canberra (2013). and a Maters of Education (Applied Behaviour Analysis) from Monash University (2021). She has extensive experience in providing CBT, ACT, and EMDR for the treatment of common mood disorders and trauma-related issues, with additional training in structural dissociation and internal family system for the treatment of relational/attachment trauma.
Kate is also registered as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst® (BCBA®). She can develop behaviour support plans and training to children to improve emotional regulation and tolerance. She is also experienced in developing verbal behaviour programs that help children develop their social, communication, and life skills.
Halie Wang is a registered psychologist with training in clinical neuropsychology. She completed her Master of Psychology (Clinical Neuropsychology) at the University of Melbourne. She is a compassionate and motivated practitioner dedicated to fostering a collaborative and safe therapeutic relationship to address her clients' concerns.
Halie has a range of experience working across a diverse range of settings, including neurology, mental health, and paediatrics. She also has experience working with clients across the lifespan presenting with mental health difficulties, and neurodevelopmental disorders,
For face-to-face sessions, a standard fee of $235 applies for a standard 50-minute session with a Clinical Psychologist/BCBA. The fee for a standard session with a registered psychologist is $215.
Rebate is available through Medicare Better Access, and can be processed at the clinic for eligible patients.
Additional services using a level 2 therapist assistant is available at the clinic for cost-effective and intensive training programs.
Our practice is set up for telehealth services using Zoom Healthcare which complies with Australian privacy standards and Australian Psychological Society guidelines.
We also provide services at school and and home if deemed appropriate (travel fees apply).
Kate is an AHPRA Board Approved supervisor, and can provide clinical supervision to provisional psychologists completing the 4+2, 5+1 pathways, as well as to clinical registrars.
